Magnetic Particle (MT)

Magnetic Particle Inspection is a nondestructive testing method that uses magnetic fields and small magnetic particles to detect flaws in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt or some of their alloys.

Inspections may be performed in-house with our coil stationary unit or on-site utilizing our portable laboratory equipment to test for surface and near surface cracks or flaws in piping, machined parts, castings and welds using the yoke technique.
