TCAAP Re-Development

Previously known as the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (“TCAAP”), Ramsey County purchased 629 acres in phases over the last decade from the U.S. government with the goal of revitalizing a long- dormant industrial area into a vibrant residential, commercial and retail area. TCAAP was constructed during World War II to manufacture munitions for the U.S. Army.

NTI performed 150 soil borings (approximately 3,272 lineal feet of drilling) on this 430-acre site. By the spring of 2016, the site will be ready for redevelopment and will include the construction of trails, roadways, underground utilities, bridges, a water tower, and storm water infiltration systems.
